Working principle of domestic sludge dryer:

The domestic sludge dryer is a horizontal mixing type dryer mainly based on conduction. The main structure is a W-shaped shell with a jacket, which is equipped with paired hollow low-speed rotating hollow shafts. Several stirring blades are welded on the shafts, and both the jacket and the hollow stirring blades are connected to a heat carrier. The two heating surfaces simultaneously heat the material. Hot air is usually sent in from the middle of the dryer, passes through the surface of the material layer in a stirred state, and is discharged from the other side.

The main features of the domestic sludge dryer are as follows:

1. The retention time of materials can be adjusted, which can handle high moisture content materials and also obtain extremely low moisture content materials;

2. Typical conduction drying method, energy-saving, high conductivity coefficient, and high thermal efficiency;

3. Due to the fact that all the required heat is supplied by hollow blades and jackets, a small amount of hot air is added to reduce exhaust humidity, resulting in low dust entrainment and easy exhaust treatment, without the need for auxiliary equipment such as dust removal.

4. The blade has self-cleaning ability. The blades rotate in opposite directions, and the two inclined surfaces of the blades repeatedly stir, compress, relax, and push the material, giving the page a unique byte ability. The heating surface is constantly updated, and the heat transfer coefficient of the blade dryer is higher than any other conductive drying method.

Sewage sludge is a product of urban sewage treatment process. Current sewage treatment technology transfers a large amount of pollutants from sewage to sludge through microbial metabolism and physical and chemical methods, in order to purify water quality. The essence of water treatment is the phase transfer of some pollutants. While the water quality is purified, a large amount of soluble pollutants become insoluble solids, which are separated as sludge. It can be said that sludge is a concentrated pollutant. According to the separation process of sludge from sewage, sludge can be divided into primary sludge, residual sludge, and mixed sludge. Depending on whether the sludge has undergone stabilization treatment, it can be divided into raw sludge and digested sludge.
