Product Overview:
The specialized municipal sludge dryer has the characteristics of low energy consumption and high efficiency.
a. The equipment has a compact structure and occupies a small area. According to the equipment structure, the heat required for drying is mainly provided by the hollow blade wall arranged on the hollow shaft, while the heat transfer from the jacket wall only accounts for a small part. So the heat transfer surface of the unit volume equipment is large, which can save the equipment footprint and reduce infrastructure investment.
b. High heat utilization efficiency. The sludge dryer adopts conduction heating method for heating, and all heat transfer surfaces are covered by materials, reducing heat loss; Without hot air taking away heat, the heat utilization rate can reach over 90%.
c. Wedge shaped blades have self-cleaning ability, which can improve the heat transfer effect of the blades. The dispersing force generated by the combined motion of the inclined surface of the rotating blade and the particle or powder layer automatically removes the sludge attached to the heating slope, while the blade maintains its heat transfer function. In addition, due to the reverse rotation of the two shaft blades, the alternating segmented compression (when the blade surfaces of the two shaft blades are close to each other) and expansion (when the blade surfaces of the two shaft blades are far apart) stirring function ensures uniform heat transfer and improves heat transfer efficiency.
Working principle of municipal sludge dryer:
The municipal sludge dryer uses steam, hot water, or thermal oil as the heating medium, and the shaft end is equipped with a rotating joint for introducing and exporting the heat medium. The heating medium is divided into two paths, which enter the jacket of the dryer body and the inner cavity of the blade shaft respectively. The body and blade shaft are heated simultaneously, and the material is heated and dried by conduction heating. The dried material is quantitatively and continuously fed into the feeding port of the dryer by the screw feeder. The material enters behind the dryer and is flipped and stirred by the rotation of the blade, constantly updating the heating interface. It comes into contact with the body and blade and is fully heated, causing the surface moisture contained in the material to evaporate. At the same time, the material is transported in a spiral trajectory towards the discharge port with the rotation of the blade shaft, and continues to stir during transportation to evaporate the water seeping out of the sludge. Then, the uniformly dried qualified products are discharged from the discharge outlet.

Municipal sludge refers to the mud like waste generated during urban construction and maintenance of public facilities, such as mud generated during construction station (well) operations, and sewage sludge generated during municipal rainwater pipeline cleaning. This type of waste directly enters the urban drainage system and rivers, which will seriously affect the drainage function of the city due to the deposition of solid particles, and endanger the urban environment due to the release of pollutants. The usual external transportation and stacking not only causes waste of land resources but also affects the quality of the surrounding environment.
